Peachy-keen makeup looks decked the feeds of Instagram this past week. FKA Twigs showed off her beige shadow, brushed-up-brows, and glossed lips with her blonde ringlets. Rina Sawayama upped the ante on blush-swirled cheeks, while also sharing it was her first time playing around with drawn-on freckles. Poet extraordinaire Amanda Gorman twinkled and glowed in a behind-the-scenes video of her glam look for The Ellen DeGeneres Show: Fuchsia lids and a berry pout, which paired nicely with her Autumn Adeigbo headband in a look styled by Jason Bolden.
Offering up more makeup inspiration was none other than Blue Ivy Carter, who showed off her incredible makeup skills using her grandmother Tina Knowles-Lawson as a model. "She's going to save me a lot of money on makeup artist fees,” joked Knowles-Lawson in a snap that showed off her freshly-painted red lips and winged liner. Then, wowing followers yet again, there was makeup artist Jacinda, who served up a major blue and gold eyeshadow moment, while Ari Lennox glistened in natural light with a dewy makeup beat and box braids and Dakota Fanning embraced bare skin during a relaxing afternoon.
On the self-care front, Yara Shahidi gave us an inside look into her “wind-down, super calm, nighttime routine," which consists of a little skin care by way of Dr. Barbara Sturm and a lot of joy-evoking dancing and singing. As for Lizzo? She rocked her protective braided style and sun-kissed skin while sharing an uplifting message. "Last year it felt impossible to get anything right," she wrote. "This year I gotta pick myself up from a new low. Journaling + meditation + a gallon of water a day + sweat has made possible something I can wrap my head around.
