Versace’s Electric Cat Eyes and Printed Hair Scarves Are a Total Mood Boost

This season's bright flashes of color and geometric prints were complemented by electric-hued cat eyes and an array of silky hair scarves.

From full bombshell to edgy glamour, the Versace runway is always ripe with dramatic and impactful beauty inspiration. This season saw the Italian fashion house's bright flashes of color and geometric prints complemented by electric-hued cat eyes and an array of silky hair scarves worn by the all star cast led by the Hadids, Precious Lee, Sora Choi, and Rianne Van Rompaey.

In conceptualizing the makeup, Dame Pat McGrath wanted to create a look that "captured a new world featuring vibrant colors and individuality," she tells Vogue. In said world, natural glows were enhanced with thin veils of foundation and sculpted with iridescent highlighter, while eyes were framed with thick, precise wings in shades of cyan, fuchsia, or crimson inspired by the collection's rich fabrics and color palette.

Doubling down on the drama, the bold pops of pigment were complemented by a slew of sumptuous hair scarves. To create flowing lengths, pro Guido Palau center-parted the hair, smoothed it pin-straight, and used hair extensions to achieve chest-grazing lengths. He then fastened on monochrome and printed bandanas around the face, framing the eyes and offering a cool, one-stop solution for a chic hair day. Whether worn together or on their own, this season's hair and makeup looks feel colorfully optimistic and offer plenty of inspiration as we fantasize about the feel-good beauty moments to come.
