Amal had George on her arm as well as a feather boa. Iconic!
Amal Clooney Wore a Sequined Strapless Gown in Rare Red-Carpet Appearance With George
Amal Clooney and husband George Clooney made a rare red-carpet appearance together October 10 at the London Film Festival.
The couple, who married in 2014 and welcomed fraternal twins in 2017, attended the premiere of The Tender Bar, the latest film George directed, which stars Ben Affleck. Amal Clooney is always stunning us with her looks, from workwear to the red carpet, and she went all out for this event.
Amal wore a creamy white fitted strapless gown covered in sequins with rouche detailing in the bodice, paired with white satin pointed-toe heels. (The look is courtesy of 16Arlington.) To enhance the Old Hollywood glamour, Amal accessorized with a white feather boa (Harry Styles’s influence?) and diamond drop earrings. She wore her hair parted to the side with soft, luscious waves.
In an interview with BBC over the weekend, George Clooney said he’s taking on fewer projects to focus on his life and family.
“I turned 60 this year, and I had a conversation with my wife and we were working a lot, as we both do, and I said we have to think of these as the halcyon years,” he said. “In 20 years, I will be 80, and that’s a real number. Doesn’t matter how much you work out, what you eat, you’re 80 and so I said we have to make sure we enjoy and live these years in the best possible way.”
As sad as it is for us to see even less of the Clooneys than we do already, we respect their decision to live their lives to the fullest and focus on each other and their children. Besides, plenty of celebrity couples, such as Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck and Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, are giving us enough content to keep us busy every day, so we’ll be fine.
