Hadid is liking a knit-style glove!
Bella Hadid Takes a Style Cue from Bernie Sanders
Is it the Bernie Sanders effect? Did the Vermont senator’s charming, knit mittens, sustainably made by a local teacher, inspire Bella Hadid’s recent outré hand accessories? Quite possibly. Today, Hadid stepped out in Paris in a long black Prada puffer coat, a large Chrome Hearts leather bag, heavy-soled combat-style black boots by Ganni. Around her neck she wore a colorful long knit scarf, and a pair of gloves with colorful swirls on them, which served as the focal point of the outfit.
Whether or not Hadid was inspired by the senator, the handgear was certainly a standout moment in the mostly-black look. The gloves hail from a low-key store called Best Of Everything, which has locations in Naples, Florida and Kennebunkport, Maine. Their offerings include jewelry with a saltwater-centric appeal, like sterling starfish pendants and a tote that reads “Beach”. While I’m curious as to how Hadid got her hands on them, the pair add a welcomed pop of contrast to her outfit. Plus, given the fervor surrounding Sanders’s head-turning mittens, it seems like the right time to delve into colorful gloves.
