Ben Affleck Reportedly Flew From LA to NYC Just to Watch Jennifer Lopez Perform

They shared a super sweet moment after the Global Citizen Live Concert.

Ben Affleck's boyfriend game is getting stronger every day.

On September 25, Jennifer Lopez performed some of her greatest hits at the Global Citizen Live Concert in Central Park. For her set, Lopez belted out throwbacks like “If You Had My Love," "Love Don't Cost a Thing,” “I'm Real,” and “Ain't It Funny” in a black jumpsuit with gold appliqué. Though Affleck was not pictured arriving at the event or seen in the crowd, a source revealed that he flew all the way from Los Angeles to NYC to support her.

"Jennifer and Ben were apart for a few days earlier this week. They met up in N.Y.C. yesterday," a source told People. "Ben wanted to be by her side and attended the event. He watched her perform." The source added, "They are always supportive of each other's careers. Ben has to be in Texas to film this coming week."

Sure enough, Affleck was photographed helping Lopez navigate a flight of stairs in stilettos following her performance and subsequent outfit change. This time, Lopez wore jeans and an iconic sequined JLo t-shirt.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were last seen in public together earlier this month at the 2021 Met Gala where they shared a kiss through their masks for the cameras. Later, Affleck was finally able to gush about Lopez for the first time since their relationship went public.

“All I can tell you is that I have seen firsthand the difference representation makes because I have seen, over and over and over and over, women of color approach Jennifer and tell her what her example as a strong woman and a woman succeeding and demanding her fair share in the business world means to them,” he told AdWeek for a profile published on September 20.

“I am in awe of what Jennifer’s effect on the world is. At most, as an artist, I can make movies that move people," he continued. "Jennifer has inspired a massive group of people to feel they have a seat at the table in this country. That is an effect few people throughout history have had, one I will never know and one I can only stand by and admire with respect.”
