Billie Eilish Brings Back Slumber Party Style in Her “Lost Cause” Video
A sleepover hosted by Billie Eilish? Why weren’t we invited? In her new music video for “Lost Cause,” the singer brings back slumber parties. She’s seen armed with her best girlfriends in coordinated (but minimal) fits, as they play Twister, spin-the-bottle, and eat munchies.
Now, when we think of a sleepover, we tend to think of an array of cozy (if not ratty) PJs—but for Eilish, a night in with her friends is an excuse to dress up loungewear and to dress alike, too. In one setup, Eilish wears an oversized beige tee and matching cream bike shorts by Skims, while her friends sport similar neutrals via refined tanks, sweaters, and more. Don't forget Eilish's ‘B’ dad cap, either (B for Billie, obviously).
In another scene, Eilish then switches into a silky blue camisole, shorts, and robe, while her friends complement her in slinky pieces in pastel blues and grays. Clearly, “monochromatic dressing” was on the sleepover invite. While spraying each other with silly string and twerking in the living room is fun and all, the matchy-matchy outfits are what truly make this slumber party soirée one to remember.
