Blake Lively Makes a Glamorous Return to the Red Carpet
It’s been well over a year since Blake Lively has hit the red carpet, and the actor’s return certainly didn’t disappoint yesterday. The star attended the New York premiere of husband Ryan Reynolds’s new film, Free Guy, in a glamorous look that reminded us of her extreme style star power.
Going for glitz, Lively wore a pink sequined gown by Prabal Gurung that featured both side and front cutouts, and an open back. The floor-length frock, which is from the designer’s resort 2022 collection, also featured hand-embroidered crystal piping along the edges (because more shine is always better). Lively then accessorized with heels by Christian Louboutin and jewels by Lorraine Schwartz—but considering her statement dress came in a sprightly color and dripped in sequins, she truly didn’t need much else.
Overall, her return to the carpet reminded us of why we’re so infatuated with Lively’s style in the first place. She’s never afraid to bring on the spellbinding fashion—whether it’s a sleek suit, or a gown with trains for days. Her red carpet choices simply can’t help but take center stage.
