Blake Lively Wore a Sparkly Pink Cutout Dress for Her Red-Carpet Return With Ryan Reynolds

Obsessed.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made their red-carpet return on Tuesday night, August 3, for the New York premiere of Reynolds’s movie, Free Guy. And they went full glam for the occasion.

Reynolds looked dapper and classic in a grayish tan blazer over a checkered button-down. Meanwhile, Lively wore a sparkly pink cutout dress by Prabal Gurung that literally shimmered in the summer sun. She paired this with jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz and her hair pulled back into a low pony.

In short, she looked stunning. Check out their looks for yourself in the photo, below.

Ever the trolling couple, Ryan Reynolds posted about his and Blake Lively’s night on Instagram, writing, “What a huge night for #FreeGuy. And what a huge night for @blakelively because this means we’re Instagram official. I know how important that was to her.”

It seems Reynolds and Lively hired a babysitter for the night for their three daughters, Betty, James, and Inez. Just a few weeks ago, Reynolds talked about how his children inspired him to be more open about his mental health.

“Part of it is that I have three daughters at home, and part of my job as a parent is to model behaviors and model what it’s like to be sad and model what it’s like to be anxious, or angry. That there’s space for all these things,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “The home that I grew in, that wasn’t modeled for me really. And that’s not to say that my parents were neglectful, but they come from a different generation.”

He continued, “Part of that is to destigmatize things and create a conversation around [mental health]. I know that when I felt at the absolute bottom, it’s usually been because I felt like I was alone in something I was feeling. So I think when people talk about it, I don’t necessarily dwell on it or lament on it, but I think it’s important to talk about it. And when you talk about it, it kind of sets other people free.”
