Clare Crawley Says She Feels ‘Amazing’ After Breast Implant Removal Surgery

“Our body shape does not define us or make us any less lovable or worthy.”

Clare Crawley just shared a post-surgery update after getting her breast implants removed after five years.

“Surgery is officially done + I am on the road to healing,” the former Bachelorette star wrote on July 31, thanking Dr. David Rankinmd as well as “explant liason” Dee Hicks. “It wasn’t an easy decision, but they truly are the most compassionate team who truly want to help women like me heal from BII (Breast Implant Illness).”

Crawley also thanked her friends and family for their “overwhelming” support. “Having you all give me a boost when my brain has slipped into moments of doubt, truly lifted me up,” she continued in the Instagram post. “And so I will continue to pass It on to anyone else who needs to hear this… our body shape does not define us or make us any less lovable or worthy. We are perfectly made just the way we are!”

In an Instagram story documenting “day 2” of her recovery, Crawley said she feels “amazing” and is not on pain meds. “The best thing so far…no itchy rashes anymore," she wrote over a mirror selfie video. “I had them for five years off and on…my skin feels incredible!”

The reality star opened up about her struggles with Breast Implant Illness in a post earlier this month, announcing her decision to have her implants removed after her body showed signs of rejecting them. “I’m sharing this in hopes that it might help others going through something similar feel not so alone,” she wrote in the caption of the video on July 4.

“The truth is, I've been going through things medically with my body that I have not had answers to, to be honest,” she said in the video. “My skin has been having really bad hives and rash. My whole body is just inflamed and itchy…. I've had blood test after blood test. That is not my only symptom, but that is the most physical one.”

After two mammograms, an ultrasound, and a consultation with her doctor, Clare Crawley decided to move forward with the removal. “As much as I love my implants, my body is fighting them and recognizes it as something obviously foreign in my body,” she said, adding, “This is my case, my body.”

Dale Moss shared his support of his rumored fiance in the comments of the original post. “So proud of you for sharing this, love," Moss wrote at the time. "I know this wasn’t easy but will help so many other women going through what you’ve been experiencing. I love you & with you every step of the way.”
