No surprise here: It's so chic.
Dakota Johnson Wore a Lingerie Corset Top on the Red Carpet
Dakota Johnson attended the New York Film Festival premiere of her new Netflix movie, The Lost Daughter, in an outfit that would make her Fifty Shades of Grey character proud.
The actor hit the red carpet in a lingerie corset top, black leather (or pleather!) pants, and simple black heels. Her hair was down and styled in loose waves, and her signature bangs framed her face.

Here is a synopsis of The Lost Daughter, per Netflix's press website: “Alone on a seaside vacation, Leda (Olivia Colman) becomes consumed with a young mother and daughter as she watches them on the beach. Unnerved by their compelling relationship (and their raucous and menacing extended family), Leda is overwhelmed by her own memories of the terror, confusion, and intensity of early motherhood. An impulsive act shocks Leda into the strange and ominous world of her own mind, where she is forced to face the unconventional choices she made as a young mother and their consequences.”
The movie is Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut, and it's based on the book by Elena Ferrante. Dakota Johnson and Olivia Colman star alongside Ed Harris, Peter Sarsgaard, Dagmara Dominczyk, Jessie Buckley, and Paul Mescal in the film.
“I have never felt more alive and in the current of my life than I felt as a director,” Gyllenhaal told Vanity Fair about the experience.
She also said about her time as a director, “I couldn’t believe it—how I would just articulate what it was that I wanted and I saw and I felt…. When I’d felt loved on set, the work I did was exponentially more daring, more interesting, more revealing to myself about myself. And when I didn’t feel loved, I learned ways of working anyway—that’s part of our job—but it was much harder.”
