Emma Stone Is Reportedly Pregnant With Her First Child

Congrats!

Emma Stone is expecting her first child with comedian and writer Dave McCary, Us Weekly reports

“She seems very happy and very excited about becoming a mother—she’s constantly oohing and cooing. She looks great, she looks healthy, she’s glowing,” a source told the publication. “She’s been keeping up with friends and work lately, she’s always staying active, and gets her daily exercise in.”

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show Stone seemingly cradling her stomach. However, it's best not to assume anything until Stone or McCary confirm themselves.

That's not likely, though. The couple is very private. In May, Page Six reported the two secretly tied the knot, but they didn't personally confirm the news one way or the other.

They did, however, confirm their engagement in late 2019 with this playful selfie:

Emma Stone and Dave McCary met in 2016 when Stone hosted Saturday Night Live. She opened up to Elle in 2018 about her attitudes toward marriage and babies changing with age. “My perspective about kids has changed as I’ve gotten older,” she said. “I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.”

Stone has a busy year in front of her, professionally. We'll see her highly-anticipated turn as Cruella de Vil when Cruela premieres this summer. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2019, the actor said stepping into the part was “pretty trippy” and “wild.” We can't wait to see.

Meanwhile, McCary's credits include writing for SNL and directing the 2017 film Brigsby Bear, which boasts an 82 percent rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

Congrats to the couple, if these exciting pregnancy reports are true!
