Eve Jobs Just Made Her Paris Fashion Week Debut
Paris Fashion Week doesn’t lack for excitement, but (as always) designers have been spicing up their runways by casting new models. Spring/summer 2022 has already introduced the world to standouts like Divine Nwaokogba at Prada and Naomi Ekindi at Dior, but this morning at Coperni, designers Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer added to the list of rising stars to watch. The show marked the runway debut of Eve Jobs, the 23-year-old daughter of Apple founder Steve. Already making waves in advertising—last year she appeared in the holiday campaign for beauty giant Glossier—Jobs strutted her stuff alongside regulars like show opener Mica Argañaraz, Adut Akech, and Gigi Hadid.

Coperni’s casting directors Piergiorgio del Moro and Samuel Ellis Scheinman understand how to curate a dynamic cast. They’re the team behind the supermodel-filled Versace x Fendi “Fendace” runway in Milan and Saint Laurent’s lineup of cool kids, after all. But Jobs added a layer to the Coperni collection itself. As Vaillant and Meyer told Vogue’s Luke Leitch backstage, the season’s accessories featured a bag, dubbed the Origami, inspired by the curving shape of the iPhone photo app icon. Fittingly, the audience at the Paris Event center all raised their smartphones to capture Jobs as she made her first walk.
