Fans Think Britney Spears Shaded Jamie Lynn a Second Time in Her New Dancing Instagram
Britney Spears has taken to Instagram this past week to air her grievances about the people involved in her conservatorship situation. First, she was vague, writing July 16 in a post, “There’s nothing worse than when the people closest to you who never showed up for you post things in regard to your situation whatever it may be and speak righteously for support."
Then, she got more specific, calling out her father, Jamie, and her sister, Zoey 101 star Jamie Lynn, in a separate post. “I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes,” Britney wrote, presumably referring to Jamie Lynn's tribute performance at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards. “My so-called support system hurt me deeply!!!!” (In videos from the event circulated online, fans noted Britney seems visibly annoyed at JL's performance.)
And now, fans think Britney has shaded Jamie Lynn again, albeit subtly. On July 18, Jamie Lynn posted a series of photos of herself in a red outfit, captioned, “May the peace of the Lord be with you, and with your spirit." (She included a peace sign emoji and a red heart emoji, as well.) Cute and innocuous, right? Maybe. Maybe not.
Later that day, Britney posted one of her iconic dancing videos (to Billie Eilish's “Bad Guy”) wearing a red top alongside the caption, “May the Lord wrap your mean ass up in joy today .... PS RED 🌹🌹🌹 !!!!!”

Now, this could be a coincidence–July 18 was a Sunday, so maybe both women had sermons on the brain–but Jamie Lynn edited her caption shortly after to just emojis. So was this a pointed message?

Awkward. One thing is certain from all of this: May the Lord remind us never to cross Miss Britney Jean Spears.
