Feast Your Eyes on Lady Gaga’s Head-Turning Valentino Couture

Suddenly, I desperately need a feather hat.

If you’re a Lady Gaga fan, you know that the superstar has been flexing looks all week long. Ahead of her concert with Tony Bennet at Radio City Hall this week, Gaga has brought along a bevy of statement looks with her to New York. I mean, did you catch her Old Hollywood-style Richard Quinn look? It was a hard look to top, but last night, the singer debuted her latest Manhattan-ready ensemble, and it’s one of her boldest yet. She slipped into a glamorous Valentino Haute Couture number that couldn’t help but turn heads.

Descending the steps of Radio City Hall, where she finished the first night of rehearsals, Gaga wore sculptural Valentino’s cape dress (sans arm holes) from the label’s fall 2021 Couture collection. She accentuated it with yellow leather gloves and a gigantic, lilac plumaged hat to match—because with Gaga, more is always more. Suddenly, I desperately need one of those hats.

Finished off with strappy heels and large, shield-like sunglasses, it was a whole statement ensemble that belongs on a runway or on the cover of magazine—but that’s the beauty of Gaga’s style, isn’t it? She brings otherworldly style to the streets and makes it look as casual as, say, a pair of sweats. It’s an innate skill—you could even say she was born that way.
