Gigi and Yolanda Hadid Perfect the Grown-Up Mommy-and-Me Look
It takes a special pair to pull off a grown-up version of a mommy-and-me look. But yesterday Gigi Hadid and her mother Yolanda Hadid stepped out in New York City to grab a coffee from Levain Bakery (and perhaps one of their famous cookies) in pavement-ready get-ups. New mom Hadid opted for a blue outfit that included a checked coat and pert, baby blue collared cardigan that she casually offset with a pair of ripped jeans. As for grandma Hadid? She went for an après ski look in a white puffer coat, a turtleneck, and a daring pair of optic white leggings. For a hint of contrast, she donned a hat that read “LOVE” in colorful letters.
While much of the paparazzi’s lens has been on Gigi, the former Real Housewives star Yolanda has been having quite the fashion moment. Just this past week, she was photographed wearing a slick all-black sporty look in a camel coat with a Louis Vuitton monogram print lining. Plus, her Instagram is dotted with images of the 57-year-old in cozy knits and saucy sweaters. Let’s keep our eye out for style cues from not only Gigi, and Bella, but also Ms. Yolanda.
