“The best style advice my mom has given me is less is more,” Kaia Gerber tells Vogue on the set of 7 Days 7 Looks. “My mom always referenced very classic looks, so I get that from her.” Gerber has very clearly embraced her supermodel mother’s advice; her style is quite sophisticated for her mere 19 years. Gerber’s wardrobe is an amalgam of polished and elegant investment pieces like woolen blazers and simple essentials rooted in comfort, like tailored denim and sleek walkable boots. Throughout the video, Gerber makes it clear that the most important thing in an outfit is comfortability, “Especially after this year, I spent so many days on end in sweatpants...I am not about to wear anything uncomfortable again in my life.” This sentiment rings true in all of Gerber’s outfits—there’s a polished nonchalance to her style. She’s elegant, comfortable, and utilitarian all at once. The viewer will also see Gerber wax poetic on boots; she wears them every day but one and admits to even liking the word boots. “Boots,” she says slowly, taking in the sound.
