It Looks Like Kate Middleton Just Wore Her Blouse Backward
Kate Middleton has impeccable style, so if there's anyone who can pull off wearing a blouse backward, it's her.
That's maybe-possibly what happened on November 28, when the Duchess of Cambridge shot a video Q&A posted to the Kensington Royal Instagram page. In it she's wearing a gorgeous purple blouse from Gucci. Check it out for yourself, below:
Royals fanatics will know this isn't the first time Middleton has worn this blouse. She sported the same one back in March 2019:
Nothing to see here, right? Well, if you look at photos of the blouse from Gucci's e-commerce site posted to Marie Claire, the buttons on the blouse are supposed to go in the back, which means Middleton wore it incorrectly last year. And if this is how she wore it then, it's probably how she wore it over the weekend. (We can't quite see in the video if the buttons are in front or behind this time.)
Either way, it's a perfectly relatable wardrobe snafu. I've worn tops backward more times than I can count. It's a good thing to know that Kate Middleton is just like us…well, in some areas!
Middleton's Insta Q&A from November 28 focused on children and families. “Thank you so much to everyone who submitted a question on the early years throughout the week. We’ve seen such an incredible response, touching on so many different aspects of the early years,” Kensington Royal wrote on its Instagram page. “This is just the start of the conversation, and we look forward to continuing it in the months and years ahead.”
One lesson every child should learn early: Own your fashion choices, even if they're technically wrong. Kate Middleton is obviously a total pro at that! You would've never known that blouse was backward, am I right?
