Naomi Biden shared their Camp David adventures on social media.
Joe Biden's Granddaughters Gave Him the Sweetest President's Day Gift
Joe Biden's granddaughters are clearly his biggest fans.
On February 14, one day before President's Day, Naomi Biden shared the sweet gift she and the rest of the Biden grandkids bought their “pop” for his first year on the job. “We bought him some swag since it’s Presidents’ Day weekend and he’s ‘literally’ President,” she wrote on Twitter alongside an image of Biden in a hat celebrating their “Presidential Retreat” to Camp David. He was also wearing a leather Air Force One jacket that reads, “Joe Biden Commander in Chief.”
“And just to make sure the job title doesn't get to his head,” the 27-year-old wrote in a follow-up tweet displaying the word “POP” embroidered on the back of the ball cap.

Although Dr. Jill Biden recently decorated the White House lawn in giant Valentine's Day hearts, the First Family actually spent the long weekend celebrating at Camp David, the estate in Maryland reserved for the president and their family.
“We’re going to be up at Camp David for Valentine’s Day,” he told reporters on Friday, per Bloomberg. The president shared their plans to “just hang out with the family and do what we always do.”
Part of “hanging out” seemed to include beating Naomi at Mario Kart. "Secret service made the exception and let him drive himself," she wrote in the caption of an Instagram Story this weekend. "A little rusty but he still won (barely)."
Joe Biden's grandchildren include Naomi, Finnegan, Maisy, Natalie, Robert “Hunter,” and 10-month-old baby Beau. Prior to the Inauguration, Joe Biden's granddaughters—along with his daughter Ashley—gave a rare interview about their relationship with the president and spoke about looking up to former first daughters Sasha and Malia Obama.
“[We’ve] had the privilege of being able to see two of our friends navigate eight years of what was really difficult, and they did so so beautifully, and they came out so grounded and humble, and they’re so smart and driven,” Finnegan said in the pre-inaugural interview with former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager. “So I think we can only take advice from them.”
