Teigen requested a follow after being blocked by Donald Trump.
Joe Biden’s @POTUS Twitter Account Follows 12 People—And Chrissy Teigen Is One of Them
Chrissy Teigen’s Twitter account just got a lot more presidential. The Cravings author asked President Joe Biden to follow her on Twitter after being blocked by Donald Trump in 2017. And Biden came through!
After President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were sworn in on Wednesday, January 20, Teigen didn’t waste any time requesting a follow. “Hello @joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz,” she tweeted.
That same day author Gabe Fleisher shared screenshots showing that Biden’s official Twitter account, @POTUS, started following Teigen. She retweeted the exciting news, writing, “OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!”

The hilarity to this is @POTUS only follows 12 accounts, and they’re all White House related. Except for Teigen. Put her in the administration, Biden!
Chrissy Teigen attended the inauguration with her husband, John Legend (who performed), and their kids, Luna and Miles. Ahead of the big day, she posted a scathing farewell message to Trump on Instagram. “Today our great national fuckup is over, but the shame will last forever. with 2 impeachments, the creation of 3 million LESS jobs, 403,000 dead, a record low approval rating and god knows how many crimes, we can officially say Donald J Trump is the greatest at being the fucking worst,” she wrote.
Teigen continued, “Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to have the guy with barely enough well done steak with ketchup fueled brainpower to power a lightbulb who doesn’t even know how to close an umbrella run the country. History will not be kind to you, you absolute psychopath. But I never was anyhow.”

Teigen later reflected on what it means now that the new Biden administration will see her tweets. “I should prob never tweet again,” she wrote, which is hopefully a joke. Keep the tweets coming, Chrissy!
