Think fall is all about autumnal colors only? Think again!
Kate Middleton Is Bringing Bright Suits Into Fall
Kate Middleton has been having a stylish week. Just yesterday, she dressed like a Bond girl in a glittering Jenny Packham gown at the premiere of No Time to Die, and this morning she’s back again with an eye-catching look. For a tour of the Ulster University Magee Campus in Derry, Northern Ireland, Middleton wore a chic, bright purple suit. Think fall is all about autumnal colors and earth tones only? Think again.
Middleton’s slim-cut suit with large lapels was designed by Emilia Wickstead (one of her favorite and most-worn labels). In the sprightly shade, Middleton proved a summery color can look seasonally appropriate in the fall, especially when paired with a black turtleneck, black belt, and navy suede pumps, which helped ground the look.
Turns out, the Duchess is right on trend. Thebe Magugu, Jil Sander, and Lafayette 148 all showed suiting in bright, energetic hues on the runways this season. And, as Middleton just showed, you don’t have to look like you belong in a Crayola box while wearing one!
