Katie Holmes Just Wore a $15 'Vote' T-Shirt From Old Navy

Katie Holmes must have caught on to her impact as a certified style icon, because she recently used her impeccable fashion sense to send an important message.

On Friday, September 25, the actor stepped out in New York City, wearing a chic yet affordable “Vote” T-shirt from Old Navy. To offset the shirt's bright colors, she paired the look with black wide-leg statement jeans, booties, a black bucket bag, and, of course, a face mask. Getting out the vote in style and promoting safety during a global pandemic? What's not to love?

This is just one of three “Vote” tees in Old Navy's collection, and they're all pretty cute. However, the best part is the company is donating $25,000 to Rock the Vote and has an initiative to pay employees a full day's wage to work the polls on Election Day.

“Voting is for everyone, regardless of beliefs or affiliations, and we believe we are all better when we engage in the process,” a company spokesperson told Fortune earlier this month. “We felt this opportunity was a new and unique way to provide the opportunity and encouragement to our employees in stores across the country to become more involved in the democratic process without worrying about sacrificing a shift at work. This election has the potential for a historic turnout, and our teams can help make a difference in our communities.”

So yeah, I think it's safe to mark this look down as one of Holmes's best—along with the times she made it okay to pair sweatpants with a blazer, nailed the classic white tee and jeans outfit, and broke two major fashion rules for one night out.

But don't just wear your vote on your sleeve. If you or anyone you know is not registered to vote, click here to learn how. Election Day is closer than you think.
