Honestly, I forgot that even happened.
Kim Kardashian Says She Doesn’t Want to Talk to Her Kids About Kris Humphries
For 14 years the Kardashian-Jenners have had their lives documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians—the good, the bad, and the ugly. And Kim Kardashian isn't sure how she's going to explain one of those chapters to her four children: North, Saint, Psalm, and Chicago.
"I don't really want to explain, like, who Kris Humphries is,” Kardashian tells Scott Disick, her sister Kourtney's ex, in a clip from Keeping Up With the Kardashians. After all, her kids know only one Kris: Jenner, their grandmother. (Kardashian and Humphries got married in a televised ceremony in 2011 but split just 72 days later.)
In the clip Kardashian and Disick are discussing whether or not they will let their children watch the long-running, soon-ending reality program. (Disick and Kourtney Kardashian share three children: Penelope, Mason, and Reign.) “But that is your life,” replies Disick. “That is your past, and at some point they're gonna be interested in seeing everything. They're either gonna do it without us or with us.”
Honestly, it may be too late. In the same conversation, Kardashian reveals that her eldest, daughter North, is already quoting lines from the series, thanks to TikTok. “She sees it's a popular TikTok where they do the crying scene from Bora Bora,” Kardashian says. “Pretty much all my crying scenes. So she sees that stuff and she'll come in and go, ‘Mom, I lost my earrings.’ She'll do that as a joke, and I'm just like, ‘You have no idea what that is.’”
For those who don't remember, Kardashian having a mini meltdown after losing a diamond earring is what prompted Kourtney to utter the now infamous rebuke, “Kim, there's people that are dying.”
Kardashian says she will probably watch the show “with” her kids, whom she shares with Kanye West, when the time is right. Sounds like a plan!
