That's money, honey.
Lady Gaga Just Wore a Boa Made of $100 Bills
Lady Gaga has done it again.
Feather boas—a fashion accessory more dramatic than practical—are back. First Harry Styles did it, then Amal Clooney. And now Lady Gaga has jumped on the trend. Except hers isn't feathered: It's seriously made of $100 bills. Now that's camp, people.
Just when we thought we'd been through it all with Lady Gaga, including a meat dress, a bubble dress, and human-hair dress, she still has plenty of sartorial surprises for us. On October 12 Mother Monster shared a photo on Instagram of herself wearing a boa made of cash while aboard a flight to Las Vegas. But relax, people, the money is probably fake. I mean, those bills are huge.

Lady Gaga is heading back to Las Vegas for her jazz residency, and her money boa makes it very clear she understands the city's vibe. Where else would you wear a boa made of (fake) cash besides Las Vegas?
Gaga let the money boa be the star of her ’fit but styled it to perfection. She gave the entire look an Old Hollywood bombshell vibe with a polka-dot chiffon dress, massive cat-eye sunglasses, and a hot pink Hermès Kelly bag with coordinating lipstick. Her hair, curled in short ringlets, ties the entire look together.
Lady Gaga committed to memorable looks all summer long, and the money boa is an indication she's not stopping the momentum any time soon. Gaga has always been ambitious with her style, but over the past few years, she's toned it down a bit. In 2021, though, she's revived her signature flamboyant style.
Gaga's next movie, House of Gucci, in which she stars opposite Adam Driver, comes out November 24. I can only imagine the looks she has planned for the press tour. More boas, please LG!
