Ahhh!
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Expecting Baby Number 2
Congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The couple just announced the Duchess of Sussex is pregnant again. Multiple outlets confirmed the news on February 14, while photographer Misan Harriman posted a gorgeous shot of the couple on Twitter.
“Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow," Harriman tweeted. “Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news!” Fun fact: the stunning photo was taken on an iPad!

"We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child," a spokesperson for the couple told People.
Markle and Prince Harry are, of course, already parents to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who will turn 2 on May 6. This happy news comes just a few months after Markle revealed she suffered a miscarriage in July.
"It was a July morning that began as ordinarily as any other day: Make breakfast. Feed the dogs. Take vitamins. Find that missing sock. Pick up the rogue crayon that rolled under the table. Throw my hair in a ponytail before getting my son from his crib," she wrote in a November op-ed for the New York Times. “After changing his diaper, I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right. I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”
“Some have bravely shared their stories; they have opened the door, knowing that when one person speaks truth, it gives license for all of us to do the same," she continued, sharing that she and Prince Harry cried together over their loss. "We have learned that when people ask how any of us are doing, and when they really listen to the answer, with an open heart and mind, the load of grief often becomes lighter—for all of us. In being invited to share our pain, together we take the first steps toward healing.”
Fans shared in the couple's joy on social media.

Though Archie was born while Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were still working members of the royal family, he was not given a title upon his birth—so it stands to reason this will not be a discussion for the new baby. (Prince Harry and Markle retained their titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but are no longer referred to as “their royal highnesses” per their agreement upon stepping down and moving to California.)
We are so happy for the Sussexes and look forward to some amazing maternity fashions from the duchess again during this pregnancy.
