Meghan Markle Wore a Face Mask and T-Shirt to Honor Ruth Bader Ginsburg—And You Can Buy Both
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did their first joint podcast interview on October 10 for Teenager Therapy, and the duchess chose a great outfit for the occasion. Markle decided to honor the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg with her wardrobe, opting for a T-shirt and face mask with nods to the Supreme Court justice. And get this: You can snag both items on Etsy right now.
First, let’s take a look at Markle in the shirt and mask. Teenager Therapy, for those who don’t know, is a podcast run by five seniors at an Anaheim, California, high school that tackles issues important to young people today—like social media and mental health, the topics covered in Markle and Prince Harry’s episode.
“I’m told in 2019 I was the most trolled person in the entire world, male or female,” Markle said on the podcast. “And eight months of that I was invisible—I was on maternity leave with a baby, but what was able to just be manufactured and churned out, it’s almost unsurvivable. That’s so big you can’t even think of what that feels like, because I don’t care if you’re 15 or 25, if people are saying things about you that aren’t true, what that does to your mental and emotional health is so damaging.”
The mask is from Etsy seller JustPoshStyle and is made of 100% cotton. The quote on it is a famous RBG soundbite. “When I’m sometimes asked, ‘When will there be enough [women on the Supreme Court]?’ and I say ‘When there are nine,’ people are shocked,” Ginsburg said, according to Town & Country. “But there’d been nine men, and nobody’s ever raised a question about that.”

“With an incomparable and indelible legacy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg will forever be known as a woman of brilliance, a Justice of courage, and a human of deep conviction,” Meghan Markle wrote in a touching statement to People about Ginsburg, who passed away in September. “She has been a true inspiration to me since I was a girl. Honor her, remember her, act for her.”
