Meghan Trainor Somehow Managed to Take a Twinning Selfie With Her 10-Day-Old Son
Meghan Trainor's newborn son is already learning the tips and tricks of Instagram. Step one: Make a cute face. Step two: Snap the selfie. Step three: Get more than 700,000 likes. Easy peasy!
“New phone background 😘,” Trainor captioned a sweet photo with her son, Riley. The singer welcomed her first child with husband Daryl Sabara on Monday, February 8, and he's already being showered with so much love on social media.
Celebrities like Hilary Duff, Bailee Madison, and Millie Bobby Brown congratulated Trainor and Sabara on becoming parents. “Twins,” Duff commented, while Madison wrote, “Oh. My. Gosh. Being a mama is YOUR look!”
Bobby Brown wrote, “Oh my God. Happy valentines day riley,” under Meghan Trainor's birth announcement. “Love you Meghan, and Daryl. Congratulations. Your [sic] going to be amazing parents and teach baby riley all about spy kids and MUSIC!!! 💫❤💜💗💘💟” (Riley's due date was February 14, but he arrived six days early.)
The Spy Kids comment is a reference to the film series in which Daryl Sabara stars. Trainor replied to Brown, writing, “I can't wait to dress him up as Spy Kids for Halloween someday.” Counting down the days until we get to see that cuteness.
Sabara's Spy Kids costar Alexa PenaVega also expressed her excitement, writing to him on Instagram, “Tears of joy!!!!! So beyond happy and excited for you and sweet mama! You are going to be such a good daddy!!! This lil blessing is gonna bring you more joy than you guys could ever imagine!!! Let the adventures begin!!!! 😍 🤙🏽 ☀️ (now come visit us already!)”
PenaVega has two sons, Ocean, four, and Kingston, 20 months, with her husband, Carlos PenaVega. And they're also expecting their third child this year. Seems like a playdate is definitely in Riley's near future. In the meantime, Trainor and Sabara, please keep posting adorable baby pics.
