Don’t you want your beach day to be a little bit more luxe?
Prada-ify Your Outdoor Experiences This Summer
If you’ve ever been at the beach or hiking up a mountain and thought, “I wish this was a little bit more glam,” then Prada has got the solution for you. Today the Italian house is launching the second installment of their Prada Outdoor collection, this time paying tribute to the ultimate summer destination: the coasts (any coasts!) There’s no time like the present to refresh your beach gear and outfits. Maybe a fanny pack done up in a blue tropical print is just what you need, or a fluffy pink headband?
To fully experience Prada Outdoor, the brand has dedicated pop-up spaces around the country. First up: Manhattan’s Broadway, today until June 20; Beverly Hills from June 14 through July 4; and Miami’s Design District from June 24 through July 12; as well as the Neiman Marcus in NorthPark in Dallas. The first New York location shows off the coastal range with surfboards and sand dunes playing background to playful gabardine beachwear. Shop ’50s-inspired terry cloth garments, crochet tunics, and perforated leather jackets.
The accessories are equally practical and beautiful. The label released a sandwich box and water bottles, along with beach volleyballs, surfboards, and frisbees. Terry cloth bucket hats and raffia shoulder bags round out the mix—all emblazoned with the Prada triangle logo, of course. A little bit of the Prada joie de vivre for everyone!
