Priyanka Chopra’s Traditional Diwali Look Deserves to Be Seen
To mark Chhoti Diwali, the second of five days of Diwali festivities, Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to send her army of followers “love, light and happiness”, and to post pictures of the beautiful traditional lehenga she wore to celebrate.

The actor-activist-producer posted a carousel of images that showed her intricately-detailed tiered skirt and floral mirror top from Arpita Mehta. “Happy Diwali eve… love, light and happiness to everyone. Kicking off the festivities with much gratitude and surrounded by love.”

Her 69.7 million followers were quick to show the love. Her husband Nick Jonas left a fire emoji; stylist Mimi Cuttrell commented, “Gorgeous Pri!”, and comedian Lilly Singh wrote, “STFU YOU’RE SO HOT”.
Earlier this year, Priyanka revealed the best beauty tip she’s ever received came from her mother. “Confidence is your ultimate form of beauty. You can have the most glamorous clothes, hair or make-up but if you aren’t confident in it you won’t radiate that energy,” she told British Vogue. “That’s the best beauty tip I’ve ever had because I wear my confidence the best and I’ve worked on that. I feel most beautiful when I’m confident.” Judging by her radiant Instagram post, she’s certainly taken the advice on board.
