Ryan Reynolds Joked About ‘Airport Bathroom Sex’ in Mother’s Day Tribute to Blake Lively
Ryan Reynolds just couldn’t help himself. The actor, who has been married to Blake Lively since 2012, continued their long history of trolling each other on social media this Sunday, May 9. In an otherwise earnest Mother’s Day tribute, Reynolds managed to slip in a less-than-appropriate joke about their sex life.
“Never could I have predicted anonymous airport bathroom sex would lead to this,” he wrote alongside a lovely selfie of the parents of three daughters. “Or how you’d hire Dog the Bounty Hunter to find me.”
As I mentioned, the rest of the post was sugary sweet. “It can’t be said enough…you’re the heart and soul of every moment this family shares,” he started. “I’m grateful for the light and for the kindness you smuggle into each and every second of our lives. I see you in the eyes of our children… Every laugh. Every blink and every thoughtful moment of vulnerability. The tender grit it takes to be a mother in 2021 is an act of pure strength and heroism.”
Reynolds continued, “I’m lucky to reflect a little of the sunlight you shine on all of us. Happy Mother’s Day, my love.”
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are the hilarious parents of three young daughters, James, Betty, and Inez, whose names already live in your brain rent-free thanks to Taylor Swift.
In November 2020 he shared the secret to raising their family: “We don’t split up,” he said in an Access Hollywood interview. “I shoot movies and my wife shoots movies and we go travel all over the place and we just all go together. I think that’s been the best part of it is that we really don’t spend a lot of time apart. I get to spend a lot of time with my girls.”
He also revealed he “never in a million years would have imagined” raising all girls. “I come from all boys. I have three older brothers. I’m the youngest of four boys, so for me to have three daughters has been such a ride,” he said. “I love every second of it.”
