Watch this too-cute moment from the latest royal tour.
See a Little Kid Adorably Ask Kate Middleton If She's a Prince
From the mouths of babes, the truth…something. Point is, kids have no filter. While on their current royal tour of Scotland, Prince William and Kate Middleton visited Orkney, an archipelago of islands; while there, they said hi to some young children who had gathered to see them.
One kid, a young gentleman in a blue jacket, pointed straight at Middleton and asked, “Are you a prince?” Bending down to look him in the eye, Middleton shook her head and answered, “I'm not a prince.” Catching on, other kids joined the boy in blue to ask the type of hard-hitting follow-up questions that we in the media should always be using to pursue the truth: “Are you a princess?”
Technically, Kate Middleton is not. Prince William is, of course, a prince, and the two of them are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. While in Scotland, they go by the titles of Earl and Countess of Strathearn…but let's not split royal hairs, especially when Kate's are so well-groomed. She laughs and nods and seems to say yes. Close enough.

Speaking of princesses, Duchess Catherine also paid tribute to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana on the trip, donning a blue skirt suit that looks very similar to one Diana wore in the nineties.
Another stop on the couple's Scotland tour was Fife, the town where they met at students at St. Andrews University. While there, they participated in “land yachting” with Fife Young Carers. The now-married pair were friends for their first two years at school together before the relationship turned romantic, but of course, there was that spark the moment they first met.
“When I first met Kate, I knew there was something very special about her. I knew there was possibly something that I wanted to explore there,” William revealed in their engagement interview, to which Kate added, “I actually think I went bright red when I met you and sort of scuttled off, feeling very shy.”
