Spring is sprung in Tokyo and going by the street style that photographer Kira of Tokyo Fashion is seeing, things are starting to look up again. People are outside and ready to show off their latest, and most creative, looks. One trend worth noting is the abundance of ruffles being worn by women and men. Tokyoites, already known for fashionable exuberance, have taken to this look and are running with it, either as the focal point of their outfit or as a decorative touch. It’s a trend that demands to be noticed. After a year indoors it’s time to shake things up.
