“HER COUNTRY TWANG IS BACK YOU GUYS.”
Taylor Swift Fans Are Losing It Over This Sneak Peek of ‘You All Over Me’
Taylor Swift fans, rejoice: We just got a sneak peek of the pop icon's new song, “You All Over Me,” ahead of its March 26 midnight release.

“You All Over Me” features Maren Morris and sounds like a classic country-pop Taylor Swift song, which makes sense since Swift wrote it in 2008 during her Fearless era. I can't help but hear the lyric “But no amount of freedom gets you clean” and think of her 1989 track titled “Clean.” Could this be a sister song? I wouldn't put it past her because she's a songwriting genius (this is not up for debate).
The “Love Story” singer's rerecorded version of Fearless will drop on April 9 and include six unreleased songs from her second studio album. If they all sound like “You All Over Me,” fans might combust from excitement, considering the internet is already buzzing after hearing this short clip.
“Only Taylor Swift can drop a song written 12 years ago and literally make headlines,” one fan, who absolutely isn't wrong, wrote.

Another added, “Taylor Swift really went from, ‘No amount of freedom gets you clean, I’ve still got you all over me’ to, ‘Gone was any trace of you, I think I am finally clean’ in six years... bye.” This is what I'm saying! That's what we call growth, Swifties.

“HOW DOES TAYLOR SOUND SO 2008 BUT ALSO SO 2021 HER COUNTRY TWANG IS BACK YOU GUYS let’s host a crying party,” one fan tweeted. Sure, she's from Pennsylvania, but that doesn't mean she can't also have a country accent. Don't question it, okay?!

“Fearless was an album full of magic and curiosity, the bliss and devastation of youth,” Swift wrote on Instagram during the rerelease announcement. “It was the diary of the adventures and explorations of a teenage girl who was learning tiny lessons with every new crack in the facade of the fairytale ending she’d been shown in the movies.”
