Collarless blazers were spotted all over the S/S 21 runways, and we have all the shopping picks you'll need to invest in the trend.
The 2021 Blazer Trend Is Here, and It's Truly Perfect
Blazers always make quite an appearance on the runways no matter what season is at play which means we can't really tell you blazers are trending since by now they are 100% a wardrobe basic, must-have, go-to, etc. Instead, we like to examine this timeless outerwear style to identify the nuances from season to season. So what's in store this spring? The collarless blazer. We're talking no lapels in sight. This detail, although subtle, somehow still feels very significant, so much so that we are deeming it the blazer trend to know this year.
This particular blazer style offers up great opportunities to show off a funky collar should you choose to layer a shirt underneath, a glitzy assortment of necklaces with no distractions from the lapel, and overall, I think the look is so chic. The lack of a collar creates such a streamlined silhouette that reads extremely elevated no matter how it's styled. Ahead, you'll get to take a peek at a few of my favorite collarless blazer moments from the S/S 21 runways, and, of course, will be able to shop my favorite versions of this trend along the way.
The peekaboo midriff moment makes this suit feel so fresh for spring.
