The model shares her favorite wardrobe pieces (tailored trousers, bodysuits, and more) in the latest installment of Vogue’s 7 Days 7 Looks.

What Does Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Wear in a Week? A Plethora of Sleek, Minimalist Essentials
“When I first started modeling, I was a hot mess. A complete hot mess. I grew up on a farm, so I had no idea how to dress,” laughs supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on the set of 7 Days 7 Looks. To say Huntington-Whiteley has since figured it out would be an understatement—the supermodel is a master of au courant minimalism, and her fashion prowess has garnered a dedicated online following.
Throughout the video, Huntington-Whiteley gives us a taste of her elegant wardrobe in just seven looks. She shows us her beloved knitted sets from The Row, the Proenza Schouler she wears on days spent lounging at home, the expertly tailored trousers with clean-lined bodysuits she dons for daytime events, and skirt sets in tonal browns she reserves for nights out. It’s clear that expert minimalism lies in sticking to a neutral color palette in solid colorways, procuring silhouettes that are architectural yet refined, and in lieu of color, she introduces pattern via accessories, like shoes and bags.
Huntington-Whiteley shares how she adapts her look to fit the differing style attitudes in the U.K. and L.A. “I feel in the U.K. the style can be much more polished, elegant, and classic, but at the same time it can also kind of be a little more rock and roll and undone,” she says. “And then in L.A., everything’s quite casual, and so I find myself being able to wear things like whites and creams so much more.” While Huntington-Whiteley is known for being polished, her time living in L.A. has taught her that it is, indeed, acceptable to wear your joggers outside. “I would even say you could wear a pair of sweatpants to dinner if you threw on a pair of heels and a great blazer,” she advises.
Now more than ever, Huntington-Whiteley’s minimalist style speaks to the spirit of the times. After plans (and life) went nothing short of awry over the past year and a half, focusing on staple investment pieces is almost meditative—a way to sartorially clear the noise blaring from so many other facets of life.
