His outfits for his very first New York Fashion Week did not disappoint.
What the Best Dressed Guy on TikTok Wore to Fashion Week
The front rows of New York Fashion Week were dominated by stars—TikTok stars, that is. In addition to the Hollywood celebrities in attendance, some of the app’s most followed—and fashionable—creators were taking up space as well. Noah Beck and Lil Huddy went to Thom Browne; Tinx and Olivia Ponton were spotted at Staud; and Wisdom Kaye, TikTok’s best-dressed man, attended Coach, Proenza Schouler, and Peter Do. Kaye documented all of his outfits for Vogue in an exclusive new video.
For his first NYFW, Kaye busted out his signature, staggering Rick Owens platforms as well as sleek Valentino and Prada coats. Overall, his experience proved to be just as thrilling as the ensembles that he wore. “It was really fun,” says Kaye. “I loved the experience of going show to show and getting to meet cool people who, until now, I had only seen through a screen.” Some of his favorites were the Coach and Thom Browne shows. “Coach was one of my favorite shows; the energy was amazing and the music was insanely good,” says Kaye. “I didn’t get the opportunity to go, but I really, really loved Thom Browne. He’s becoming one of my favorite designers, and this latest installment was gorgeous.”

Despite what you may think, Kaye’s approach to Fashion Week dressing wasn’t insanely organized or preplanned. “I packed with, like, three hours left before my flight, so I honestly just wore whatever I could fit into my suitcase,” says Kaye. “I didn’t really have anything in particular that I wanted to experiment with—I just wanted to do what I do.” However, the TikTok star did reference his photo archive of pieces to refresh his memory. “I have an album on my phone with more than 3,000 looks, so I chose a few of those,” he says.
Some of Kaye’s standout looks? The floral Valentino coat that he wore to the Peter Do show, and the yellow Beams Plus shirt with big lapels that he paired with flared Raf Simons pants while exploring Brooklyn. For a dapper end to the week, he styled a sleek Prada overcoat with a Loewe shirt, Marc Jacobs pants, and Gucci loafers. Now that Fashion Week is over, Kaye says he’ll be taking inspiration from what he saw on the runways and on the streets. “I’ll make an attempt to be more playful and colorful,” he notes. “From shows to showgoers, New York was plastered with colorful ensembles, and that’s been the biggest takeaway from this Fashion Week.”
