You Must See Jennifer Lawrence as a Redhead With Blunt Bangs

Such a different look for her!

The movie you didn’t know you were waiting for is coming to Netflix this Christmas Eve.

Netflix’s Don’t Look Up—starring Jennifer Lawrence and directed by Adam McKay—finally has a trailer. And it’s star-studded.

Yes, Lawrence is back on the big screen after two years…as a redhead with blunt bangs, no less. Also, Leonardo DiCaprio has a beard! And Ariana Grande is there too!

Seriously, Don’t Look Up has more movie stars in it than the Knives Out sequel: Leo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Grande, Jonah Hill, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Timothée Chalamet, Ron Perlman, Michael Chiklis, Cate Blanchett, and Meryl Streep all make appearances.

Don’t Look Up tells the story of two low-level astronomers who must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy Planet Earth. Watch the trailer for yourself, below.

“Adam has an unparalleled ability to spark conversation with humor and timely stories,” DiCaprio told EW. “I knew when I read his script that it was incredibly unique, as it struck an important chord concerning the modern world we live in. Adam has woven an incredibly timely message about society, how we communicate, our current priorities, and the climate crisis into an absurdly funny yet important movie.”

And McKay told EW about the film’s cast, “I’ve known Jennifer for a good while now. One of the first meetings she ever took in Los Angeles was with me. She is a massive fan of Step Brothers. I’ve been a giant fan [of hers] since she first came on the scene, and she just straight up makes me laugh. So I wrote this role for her. She was the first actor in…. Leo was interested and then the pandemic hit. So we used lot of the time during the pandemic to just go through the script, talk about his character. He’s really smart, he really knows movies, he knows movie history, he understands characters, and it was very enjoyable.”
