That choice has now led to Lego Horizon Adventures, which will release November 14 on PC, PS5, and even Nintendo Switch. Additionally, a report from last month stated that Guerrilla's next game will be Horizon Online instead of a third entry in the single-player series. That one would then arrive afterward, potentially many years down the line. That adds to the idea Guerrilla won't be touching Killzone anytime soon.

Killzone is just one of the many major PlayStation franchises that hasn't been touched for a long time by Sony and its developers. Like Killzone, Resistance is another shooter series that some fans have argued should be revived for PS5.
