A bunch of Star Trek Blu-rays and books are included in Amazon's B1G1 50% event, including two recently released box sets
The weather is starting to warm up, and if you need a reason to stay inside and beat the heat, why not dive into the Star Trek universe? Amazon is offering the newly reissued Star Trek 10-Movie Collection on Blu-ray for just $48.29 (was $62), which is the best price we've seen for revamped box set with additional content and digital versions of each film. The 12-disc collection just released a few weeks ago, but it's part of Amazon’s Buy 1, Get 1 50% off Blu-ray sale. You could pair it with Star Trek: Lower Decks - The Complete Series, which launched on Blu-ray in April and is also B1G1 50% off. When purchasing the two together, you’ll spend just $68 instead of $102.
There are a few other Star Trek Blu-rays included in the B1G1 50% event as well as a bunch of Star Trek books. For instance, Lower Deck fans could pair the Blu-ray collection with the official Crew Handbook or the interactive graphic novel Warp Your Own Way. Or you could grab the original Star Trek Animated Series for super cheap by purchasing it alongside Lower Decks.

Instead of following the most important characters in the Starfleet, Lower Decks focuses on the support crew on the lowly U.S.S. Cerritos. The critically acclaimed series is the only comedy in the Star Trek franchise, which made it feel fresh and original when it debuted to rave reviews in 2020.
With great characters, genuinely funny dialogue, and engaging storylines, this lighthearted spin on the Star Trek formula is easily the best animated Star Trek show (there are only three). But even when compared to the rest of the series, and particularly the modern shows and films, Lower Decks is one of the best in general.
Lower Decks ran for five seasons, and the Complete Series Box Set gets you all 50 episodes as well as five hours of bonus features, including audio commentaries featurettes, animatics, and more.
