A new football season is right around the corner, and that means so is a new Madden
Madden NFL 24 launches on August 18, and preorders are available now for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. There’s a good reason to preorder your copy ahead of launch, as a few impressive preorder bonuses are up for grabs--you can even get a free $15 gift card with your order. The game is also looking to make some exciting changes to the usual Madden formula.
One of the biggest changes is for AI behaviors, with CPU quarterbacks using the Skill-Based Passing system and defensive backs sporting a faster reaction time when the ball is in the air. Madden NFL 24 will also benefit from reworked animations and something known as Sapien technology that will bring more variety to player size and athleticism, and it should result in a more realistic in-game experience. Plus, Madden 24 will support cross-play for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, which is a first for the series. Toss in the usual suite of graphical updates and performance tweaks, and Madden NFL 24 sounds like it could move the franchise forward in some welcome ways.

Madden NFL 24 Preorder Bonuses
All Madden NFL 24 preorders come with the Josh Allen Elite Player Item for Ultimate Team, which makes sense since the Buffalo Bills star. is the Madden 24 cover athlete. You will also get NFL Marble Bills Gear and one "strategy item" for offense and defense for Ultimate Team.
If you preorder the Deluxe Edition before June 22, you’ll get a player item from the AKA Ultimate Team Program. If you’re a fan of the unique game mode, that could give you a big advantage during your first few hours with the game. Retailer exclusive bonuses are yet to be announced--but check back in the coming week as different listings start going live.
Meanwhile, Best Buy has an additional bonus: a free $15 Best Buy gift card.

Madden 24 sports Dual Entitlement, so you'll gain access to both the PS5 and PS4 or Xbox Series X and Xbox One versions of the game with one purchase, Keep in mind that like other games, there's only one disc version for Xbox that covers both platforms, whereas on PlayStation there are separate PS5 and PS4 discs. The PS4 disc will have a free upgrade to PS5, but obviously the PS5 disc won't work on PS4.
