Two Award-Winning Actors Cast In Live-Action Dead Take Game Roles

A pair of prominent video game voice actors will be stepping in front of the cameras for the horror game Dead Take
At the beginning of the game, Vinny has gone missing after attending a decadent party in Hollywood. Players assume the role of Vinny's friend and fellow actor as they explore the mysteriously abandoned Hollywood Hills mansion that was booming with life the night before.
The live-action videos can be found hidden throughout the mansion in USB cards and memory drives. Only by splicing the video footage together can players discover what really happened the night before and shed some light on Vinny's fate.
"As actors in games and beyond, Neil, Ben, and I have leaned on each other through some extremely grueling times," said Dead Take creative director Abubakar Salim in a statement. "In those moments, we exchanged some of the horror stories that built the foundations of this game. Not only do they bring considerable talent to the project, but they also helped create a space in which we could all be truly raw and honest. I can't wait for you to see the caliber of their performances in Dead Take."
Dead Take doesn't currently have a release date, but its Steam page is live. The game is expected to be released later this year on PC.
