Another Skybound comic series is getting the video game treatment

A brief teaser trailer shows off the adaptation's visual style, which will use a retro comic-book theme similar to its source material. We also see a few of the giant monsters Elena will face off against, as well as a brief tease of the Horned Man at the center of it all.

The original comic version of I Hate This Place, written by Kyle Starks and drawn by Artyom Topilin, launched in May 2022 through Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment. The series saw 10 issues released between May 2022 and July 2023, with two hardcover collections releasing later in 2023.

I Hate This Place is set to launch later this year for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
