Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray thanks fans who trolled him for playing too much CoD for helping him secure the deal
After the contract clause was put in the public spotlight, rumors circulated that it was due to Murray playing too much Call of Duty. This led to fans making fun of Murray, even doing breakdowns of his performances on double XP weekends compared to his usual stats. The new ad even references this, with the YouTube description reading "No need to wait for a double XP weekend when you have The Replacer."
This partnership is one of many ads featuring The Replacer, who used to appear in old Call of Duty ads. The Replacer takes your place at work so you can game, with him appearing as the Pope for Black Ops 6. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 arrives on October 25 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
