As Tony Hawk himself teases the next game in the franchise, a ratings board may have given away the next titles to be remastered

Former Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick recently disclosed that Hawk was living in his car when he made his deal for the first Pro Skater game. That game changed his life, and Hawk hasn't made any secret about his desire to continue the franchise that made him a video game legend. The 25th anniversary of the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater was in September 2024, and Hawk revealed that he had been in contact with Activision about the occasion. Although no announcement was made at the time, Hawk assured THPS fans that the franchise was far from over.

An earlier report suggested that the next Tony Hawk game could launch as soon as this summer, and that's definitely plausible given the timing of the announcement. We'll know more when Activision makes its official announcement on March 4.
