Stardew Valley Creator "Might Eventually Make A Stardew Valley 2"

But Haunted Chocolatier is next up for Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone
But Barone did give hope to people wanting a full-fledged sequel in the future. "I might eventually make a Stardew Valley 2, to be honest," Barone said. First, though, he wants to switch things up. "I don't want to just be the Stardew Valley guy, that's why I'm making Haunted Chocolatier," he said.
That's also why we shouldn't expect a sequel to Stardew Valley anytime soon. Barone is more focused on Haunted Chocolatier, especially after spending so much time on Stardew Valley 1.6. Haunted Chocolatier was revealed almost four years ago at this point, but Barone doesn't have any rough release window in mind. In fact, when Lee asked if it could come out in the next five years, Barone replied: "I hope so. That's the goal."
Stardew Valley received the 1.6.9 patch in November, which included legendary fish ponds and a new way to rescue lost items. The farming sim originally launched in 2016, though Barone has continually updated the game.
