Now Playing: The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom Review

It was previously known Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom was getting a free Switch 2 update. The game will see optimized visuals and HDR support, with the former hopefully addressing frame-rate issues that were highlighted in GameSpot's Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom review. A similar problem has seemingly been addressed with Pokemon Scarlet/Violet's free Switch 2 update.

There will also be paid Switch 2 Edition enhancements for games, such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Civilization VII. The price point can fluctuate on these and are game-specific. For instance, the Breath of the Wild update costs $10, while Kirby and the Forgotten Land's update costs $20.

Switch 2 launches tomorrow, June 5. GameSpot has Switch 2 restock info in case you were unable to get a preorder for the hybrid system.
