Now Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond - Official Gameplay Reveal Trailer
Nintendo didn't reveal the first trailer for Metroid Prime 4 until earlier this year, and there have only been a handful of glimpses since. Players will once again assume control of bounty hunter Samus Aran as she finds herself trapped on the jungle planet Viewros while facing foes and hostile terrain. Luckily, Samus has also developed some new psychic powers that may give her the edge she needs to survive her latest ordeal.

While Metroid Prime 4 is coming to both Switch and Switch 2, the latter has a special feature that will let players switch between standard controls or the Joy-Con 2's mouse capabilities on the fly. During GameSpot's hands-on preview, that ability took some getting used to. But the game looks very promising so far.
Nintendo hasn't shared any concrete details about when Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be released, but the year is half over and the wait shouldn't be too long.
