EA Sports College Football 26 launches July 10 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X
If you're planning on picking up EA Sports College Football 26 when it releases July 10, multiple retailers have exclusive preorder bonuses that make it worthwhile to preorder a copy ahead of launch. Walmart is bundling the standard edition with a limited-edition steelbook case for free. The steelbook freebie popped up on Walmart's online storefront for PS5 and Xbox Series X on June 10. Walmart preorder freebies often sell out before launch, so fans should secure their copy while they can. Meanwhile, Best Buy is offering a $10 electronic gift card with preorders for PS5 and Xbox Series X. All physical edition preorders at those retailers, as well as others like Amazon and Target, include a few pieces of in-game content.
EA Sports College Football 26 will once again release about a month before Madden. Preorders for Madden NFL 26 opened at the same time as College Football 26, with the pro football sim slated to launch on August 14.
EA Sports College Football 26 Preorder Bonuses
Preorder bonuses vary based on which version of the game you’re purchasing. However, preordering the standard version will get you the following:

This Walmart-exclusive edition comes with a steelbook case in addition to the standard edition case, which is great news for Buckeyes and Crimson Tide fans since their star receivers are on the cover this year.
The background of the standard edition cover art is wrapped around the steelbook case, and the interior currently shows EA's 26 logo--though this might not be final, since it matches the placeholder art used before the cover stars were revealed. The steelbook features logos of many of the biggest college football programs in the country, including the reigning national champ Buckeyes of The Ohio State University. The front of the case also features Notre Dame, Nebraska, Penn State, Clemson, Florida, and more schools. The back of the case has Alabama, Texas, Oregon, and a few other schools.
Along with the free steelbook, you'll get the official preorder bonuses outlined above.

EA Sports College Football 26 fittingly features two sophomore phenoms on the cover: Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and Alabama receiver Ryan Williams.
Unfortunately, EA isn't bringing College Football to Switch 2, but Nintendo players will be able to return to the professional gridiron in Madden NFL 26 this August.
