Winterfest 2021 is the newest major event taking place in Fortnite. Players can earn XP, complete challenges, get new skins, and open presents.
Everything You Need to Know About Fortnite Winterfest 2021
Winterfest 2021 makes a return in Fortnite with tons of new content and rewards for players. Every year, Fortnite goes above and beyond to celebrate the holiday season. Outside the seasonal changes on the island like snowfall and Christmas lights, players are able to unlock exclusive holiday skins for both their character and weapons for free. During Winterfest 2021 in Fortnite, players will want to log in at least once per day to get prizes.
The Fortnite Winterfest 2021 event runs from December 16, 2021, to January 6, 2022. Players will notice a snowflake icon on the top-right section of the main menu. If players choose this icon, they will be brought inside the Cozy Lodge. Here, it's possible to meet Santa and claim a single free present per day. Each present features a cosmetic item from various NPCs on the island.
Chiller Grenades, Snowball Launchers, Holiday Presents, and the Sneaky Snowman disguise have been un-vaulted as part of the Winterfest 2021 event. These are likely to be vaulted again when the event is over. Additionally, all of the event challenges and cosmetics from Winterfest are not connected to the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Battle Pass, so free-to-play players can also collect rewards and enjoy the festivities during the final major Fortnite event of 2021.
