While the full $16 bundle is the best value, the deal offers a tiered pricing structure, starting at three books for $2. The books in this tier include the graphic novels Halo: Initiation and Halo: Escalation Volumes 1 and 2. Halo: Initiation follows the career of Orbital Drop Shock Trooper Sarah Palmer before she was transformed into a Spartan-4 super-soldier, while Halo: Escalation fills in important events that take place between Halo 4 and 5.
