Catch These Samurai Movies That Inspired Ghost Of Yotei In Theaters Ahead Of Its Release

Five specially-selected samurai movies will play at Alamo Drafthouse locations ahead of Ghost of Yotei's launch
During the development of Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch struck a deal with the estate of Kurosawa to create a black-and-white Kurosawa mode. That mode will make a comeback in Ghost of Yotei, alongside a collaboration with Takashi Miike for a mode that depicts some very up-close and personal kills. Samurai Champloo director Shinichirō Watanabe also received his own mode in the game, which adds some original lo-fi tracks to Ghost of Yotei's soundtrack.
Earlier this month, Sucker Punch revealed that Ghost of Yotei's protagonist Atsu won't be limited to weapons used by samurai or shinobi. Instead, Atsu can arm herself with an arsenal of weapons and unleash them at will.
Sony has also announced a pair of Ghost of Yotei limited-edition PS5 bundles that will be released alongside the game on October 2.
